I am personally not very into implanting stuff into my body. I personally look for more non-invasive approaches like LIPUS, ultrasound laser, High Intensity Extracorporeal Shockwaves, etc as a form of external stimuli. You can actually make bones heal from osteoporosis using these devices. Some groups based in UCSD are currently trying to build these tDCS (transcranial direct current stimulation) devices where they are using low frequency pulsing electrical signals to stimulate their brain to enhance cognitive abilities. That is not implantable. That is major biohacking and I am going to be part of it. Check out my post about it at http://www.pulsemassagers.com/transcranial-direct-current-stimulation-tdcs-device-sale/.
